A proper workout in the gym and a balanced diet when combined for a consistent period is the formula for ensuring that losing weight is no longer a dream. Do not forget to perform a 15 minute warm-up before your work-out session and after the work-out it is preferable to follow with a cardio session for another 15 minutes. Perform a high intensity exercise for a short time rather than low intensity for a longer time. The more you toil in the gym the more you get slim. Other simple fat burning solutions include walking in fresh air every day. Always make sure that you perform your exercise on an empty stomach, before your breakfast as more fat will be burnt. This is because the body must burn glycogen stores before it burns fat.

October 5th, 2008 by admin
Men who have cancer of the prostate have several different treatment options which are dependent on the stage of the cancer once it has been diagnosed. Radiation might not be necessary if the prostate cancer is caught at an early stage. This is why early diagnosis is so important through regular physical examinations. It is also important for men to be aware of changes n their body that could be related to the onset of prostate cancer. This increases the chance for less invasive treatments and early recovery. Otherwise, men with prostate cancer decrease their chances of survival the longer they wait to receive treatment.

How Is Hypertension Measured?
October 3rd, 2008 by admin
Blood pressure is measured by two different numbers, one number with a slash and then another number. The first number is the larger of the two and represents the pressure that is inside of your blood vessels whenever your heart is beating. The second number is considered by many to be the one to watch as far as hypertension is concerned, however. This is the pressure that is inside of your veins and arteries whenever your heart is at rest. Since there are no noticeable symptoms that typically go along with high blood pressure, keeping your eye on these numbers regularly is important.
