The best renewal
May 31st, 2009 by admin
One of the things that I like to do is make sure that I am as healthy as possible and therefore I always go to have a health check every year. The last time I went I discovered that I was suffering from a condition known as Barrett’s Esophagus, and that in order to improve it I needed to undergo some kind of treatment. I am really glad I discovered it early.

Heather’s IBS Cheat Sheet
May 27th, 2009 by admin
I was not able to gain control of my Irritable Bowel Syndrome until someone directed me to this IBS website. The website had all the information I needed, including a Heather’s IBS cheat sheet. The cheap sheet is great! It taught me to keep track of what I should and should not eat, and helped me with my IBS diet. One of my favorite items on the sheet is the 10 commandments to eating for every IBS sufferer. It has become my 10 rules for living a symptom free live. I feel like I was given the golden key that unlocked the gates to the kingdom. I know it sounds silly, but if you only knew.

However, be aware that unless your blood pressure is extremely high it is unlikely that any identifiable symptoms will surface. If you have had high blood pressure for a long time, the chances are great that you will experience damage to your internal organs and perhaps sustain long-term eye damage as well. Make your golden years better and perhaps extend them by avoiding as much as possible the risk factors associated with high blood pressure.

Winning the mobility battle
May 4th, 2009 by admin
If you’re reading you may be disabled, and if you are you know that you once had a choice (whether you were aware of it at the time or not). Your choice was to either get on with your life, or waste away and die without a fight. Part of that is re-establishing mobility. No doubt you’ve discovered what’s available out there and no doubt you’ve found out what is generally regarded as the best. I’ve personally found quickie wheelchairs to be the best. They’re like the “Toyota” of wheelchairs, very durable, very reliable. It means I don’t have to be careful with them. It means that I can be sure that they’ll be just as available as my legs once were. I had a choice once too, and I chose to fight. Getting my mobility back was the first part of that.
