Risky Spine Surgeries….Research Before you Decide
November 21st, 2008 by admin
How safe is spine surgery? With the spine being in as delicate of a position as it is, the chance for mistakes runs high. While most minor procedure spine surgeries are successful, the more intense procedures run a much higher risk. In July of 2004, The Burton Report, published by Lippincott stated that “The world of spinal medicine, unfortunately, is producing patients with failed back surgery syndrome at an alarming rate” (Vol. 12, No. 7, pp.79). Some of the reported problems that patients have faced after their spine surgery include; lateral spine stenosis, central stenosis (including fusion over growth) and recurrent or persistent disc herniation.

Second hand smoke and a room air cleaner
November 13th, 2008 by admin
Many people assume that simply purchasing a room air cleaner unit will diminish the damage of second hand smoke. While a room air cleaner may help greatly in this matter, you need to be aware that second hand smoke can be a health risk even with a room air cleaner. The best way to attack the problem is by purchasing a room air cleaner to help clean up the residue of smoke in the room that people most commonly smoke in and then opening the window and allowing the room to thoroughly ventilate. The unit will help the room refresh, but cannot be relied on completely to do the job.

November 6th, 2008 by admin
Everyone thinks there is a secret to everything. There are really no secrets in the ability to age naturally. People do it daily all over the world. It is called common sense. How many times have we all seen television shows or read articles telling us how to live healthy, nutritious lives only to go to lunch and eat the fried foods we know we should avoid? I know I have. November 5th, 2008 by admin
Sometimes it feels as though you need a jet engine to keep up to your neighbors and friends. Maybe she gets the extra energy and the beauty by using her used saunas and getting in some extra alone time. It is worth it to take thirty minutes out of your life to feel energized and alive. Only you can tell the world to stop so you can recharge. You should consider at least getting a whole body portable sauna so you can also reap the benefits of steam.

Are You Considering Plastic Surgery?
November 5th, 2008 by admin
If you are considering plastic surgery in order to look like you are younger than you are, you might want to reconsider. It is much better to age naturally. Even though there has been much progress in the field of plastic surgery and no one is on record as being deceased because of plastic surgery, there are risks. If you have an open incision, you are susceptible to the chance of infection. As evidenced by the Hunter Tylo Plastic Surgery nightmare, plastic surgery can go wrong. Plastic surgery is not the only answer. There are spas and anti-aging cremes and cosmetics that are being perfected all of the time. They do not pose the risks that plastic surgery can.

What Happens To Child When Allergies Hit
November 4th, 2008 by admin
When kids suffer from nasal allergies, it is because their immune system is overreacting to a foreign body and creating an antibody that will help fight the allergen. The antibody causes histamine to be released which causes inflammation. This, in turn, causes things like congestion, itchy eyes, runny nose and sneezing. Allergic reactions happen when the body overreacts to things that are not usually harmful to the general population. Mold, animal dander, dust mites and mold are the main culprits. It is estimated that about forty million Americans, forty percent of those being children, are affected by nasal allergies severe enough to warrant treatment.

October 29th, 2008 by admin
Every problem has its own solution and similarly your weight loss problem has a simple solution if you understand a common fact. A proper workout in the gym and a balanced diet when combined for a consistent period is the formula for ensuring that losing weight is no longer a dream. Do not forget to perform a 15 minute warm-up before your work-out session and after the work-out it is preferable to follow with a cardio session for another 15 minutes. Perform a high intensity exercise for a short time rather than low intensity for a longer time. The more you toil in the gym the more you get slim. Other simple fat burning solutions include walking in fresh air every day. Always make sure that you perform your exercise on an empty stomach, before your breakfast as more fat will be burnt. This is because the body must burn glycogen stores before it burns fat.
