How Would You Get Hypertension?

September 26th, 2008 by admin

If you are a person who smokes and sits around the house all day eating potato chips, you just might be a candidate for hypertension. If you have a grandma and a dad who was diagnosed with hypertension in the early years, you just might get hypertension. If you get off of work and go straight to the corner bar and do nothing but drink alcohol for 2 or 3 hours, you probably will get hypertension along with liver failure. If you are going on your 36 birthday, you just might be aware of your health because you have just entered the category of people who might get hypertension.

Researching Drug Rehab

September 6th, 2008 by admin

I’ve recently become interested in Drug Rehab.
I’ve accepted that I can’t kick this habit by myself. I need help.
My wife has told me I have to find out more about Heroin Rehab if our marriage is going to survive. And she’s right.
I can’t allow this to continue. I’m not getting any younger. It’s time to get myself together.
I’m sure I’ll have more to say about this down the line.

About Dental Assistant Jobs

September 2nd, 2008 by admin

I need a new career. I’ve been checking out dental assistant jobs lately. Looks like a decent prospect. Perhaps a precursor to going to dental school myself.
I’ve been reading up on The Dental Assistant Association, and think I might be interested. Getting a job should be no problem once I have the training done.
I can’t wait to ditch my current boss - so it may be worth it to do the training at night or over the weekend.
What do you think?

Talking About Dental Assistant Jobs

August 22nd, 2008 by admin

My job stinks. I’ve been thinking of making a change - something that won’t require too much school, but is a cut above bartending. I was told to check out dental assistant jobs. I suppose dealing with bad breath and fillings beats getting groped by drunks.
In particular, I’ve been checking out
The Dental Assistant Association. Salaries vary a lot from one office to the next, but there appears to be a shortage, so prospects are good.
I’m sick and tired of working where I am, so it’s worth looking into a potential change, at least.
Gotta Run for now. More later.

Researching Dental Office Assistant Careers

August 20th, 2008 by admin

Lost my job again. I’ve been thinking of a career change anyway, so it might be for the best. A friend said to check out dental office assistant careers. I’m a bit squeamish, so I’m leery of the idea, but the pay is good and the jobs are stable.
In particular, I really want to know more about Dental Assistant Training. I think it’s worth looking into, seeing as there appears to be a shortage of qualified folks out there.
I can’t wait to ditch my current boss - so it may be worth it to do the training at night or over the weekend.
Until next time.

Did you know you can work from home doing medical transcription?

August 15th, 2008 by admin

There has been much written across the vast Internet about work-from-home careers, get-rich-quick schemes, etc. etc. etc.  The truth is, there ARE some careers and jobs that can really be done from home with a PC and an Internet connection.  Many of them are highly technically advanced, such as web development and PHP coding, but there are a few where lots of higher education is not required.  Becoming a Medical Transcriptionist is one of the latter - there are medical transcription job openings right now, in many parts of the world (including India!), and there is plenty of training available.  Medical Transcriptionists listen to doctor's recordings of patient charts and the like, and transcribe them into written form.  There is no need to ever be in the physical presence of the doctor.  Not only that, you can get your medical transcription certificate online!

Considering Dental Office Assistant Careers

July 27th, 2008 by admin

The economy stinks right now. I’m sure you’re feeling it. Lately I’ve been checking out dental office assistant careers. Not what I always saw myself growing up to be, but the market is still good and the pay is decent.
In particular, I’ve been thinking about Dental Assistant Colleges. Overall prospects for the career look OK right now - there seems to be a shortage of good people, so getting a job should be doable.
I’m anxious to make a change, but I need to know more before I can commit to getting the training and making the switch.
Alright - that’s all for now.

Toric Contact Lenses?

June 7th, 2008 by admin

When I told my husband that I was going to be fitted with a pair of toric contact lenses, he asked me what those were. I told him that toric contacts were designed for those who have an astigmatism in one or both of their eyes. Astigmatism is a condition where the eyeball is not shaped in the normal fashion. These irregularities in the shape make it difficult for your eyes to see things clearly and sharply, because it does not allow your eyes to focus accurately — the extra length (or missing length, in the case of a short eyeball) changes the focal distance. These special-purpose toric lenses can be shaped and fitted to conform very closely to the shape of your eyeballs — thereby allowing you to have a clean, crisp field of vision, just like you would have if you wore traditional eyeglasses. If you suffer from astigmatism, check with your eye care professional to see if you can be fitted with these types of contacts.

Limitations Of Laser Eye Surgery

June 6th, 2008 by admin

Laser eye surgery can not only offer you freedom from the hassles of changing contact lenses on a daily basis but it can also help you have a normal eye sight. However, not every individual can expect such a dramatic result because laser eye surgery cannot be considered a foolproof procedure to cure eye problems.

There are several factors due to which the result of such a surgery can vary from person to person. If you are a slow healer and have medical problems like diabetes or glaucoma, laser eye surgery is not good for you. This is the reason why it is important to undergo proper examination with your doctor.

Diet for ADHD Disorder

May 17th, 2008 by admin

Parents must be very careful with what their ADHD child eats. Yes, diet has a greater role to play in the life of an ADHD child. Its been found that some food items can have some dramatic change in the life of children suffering from ADHD. These food items should be removed from the diet for adhd. A diet plan for ADHD is somewhat like this- no diary products like cow’s milk, instead try some other substitutes like almond milk, no sodas, teas, coffee and other drinks but pure water at least 8-10 glasses a day, no yellow foods, no junk foods containing trans fat, no fruit juices, very much less sugar, no chocolates, no processed meat. But healthy nutritional diet consisting of fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains and fresh meat, fishes, nuts and others.
